“THE
BEST PART OF MUSIC ISN'T THE NOTES”: this adage
from Gustav Mahler is adeptly encompasses all those
values of musical research and sonority, of interpretation
and careful study that it has convinced us to make it
the mantra of the “CONSONUS Quartet”.
In fact, a string quartet represents one of the most
complete and beautiful musical ensembles but, at the
same time, one of the most difficult to direct to obtain
excellent results.
Based on these certainties, we have combined several
decades of experience in the concert field, building
on mutual relationships of esteem and friendship developed
over the years. Our project was created by confronting
a repertoire that includes different styles and musical
genres with seriousness and constant commitment in frequent
weekly practice sessions.
|
The
result is the creation of a “new sound”
that presents itself every time we play.
We are unique in our interpretation of classic and light
repertoire selections with equal commitment, creating
an osmotic process in which the seriousness of the music
is paired with pleasure spontaneously generated from
the light music and vice versa.
All that allows us to be able to play at ceremonies,
banquets or concert halls, always offering a high quality
product appreciated by the public.
